In 2005, it is no longer a question of whether to respond to the work, life and well-being challenge. The question is how. It is time to stop dwelling on the problem and start concentrating on finding creative solutions. The following pages present nine case studies of large and small organizations from the private, public and community sectors that have made the well-being of their workforce a priority. Each study tells a unique story about the organization's inventive strategy to create a healthy workplace. There is no one-size-fits-all answer. Each organization has come up with a unique approach that respects both the needs of the enterprise and the needs of its employees. To understand more about why you should care about work and well-being, take the time to read the introduction and refer to resources explore and analyze the issue. |
