With kids:~ 7 days~ 1 day in Banff city~ 5-6 days in Banff National Park~ 1-2 days in Lake MinnewaskaOur family of five (me, husband, son and daughter) stayed for 4 nights in a cabin and for 4-5 days in a tent. I can’t say that I recommend staying for more than 6 nights in a cabin because the kid-friendly things close down after 6 pm. So if your kid can’t stay up past the wee hours of a national park, then you need to stay for just 4 nights.
