Who gets family day off

According to the Family Friendly UK campaign, everyone in the UK should get at least one paid family day off each year, regardless of where they work. These days off are intended to allow you and your family to recharge and relax together. They can be used for anything that will make you and your family happier and healthier, such as time together with friends and family; going to a park; or just spending some time together doing something you all enjoy. To qualify for paid family leave days, you must be a employee who has worked for your employer for at least 26 weeks. If you are self-employed, or work in part-time or temporary work, this may mean that you are not eligible. You can still use these days off however they are unpaid but may be included in your trade union dues or expenses if this is allowed under your country’s legislation.
