- Aboriginal Canada Portal (ACP) is a portal site for Canadian Aboriginal on-line resources, contacts, information, and government programs and services. The portal offers ease of access and navigation to listings of Aboriginal associations, businesses, organizations, bands, communities, groups, news and peoples.
- Association for Research on Mothering (A.R.M.) The Centre for Research on Mothering, at York University, has a mandate to promote feminist maternal scholarship by building and sustaining a community of researchers — academics and grassroots — interested in the topic of mothering-motherhood.
- The BC Association of Family Resource Programs (FRP-BC) supports community based family resource programs in BC to foster the healthy development of children within the context of the family. Our membership includes nearly 200 family resource programs which may also be recognized as Family Place, Family Support Services, Family Development Centres, Neighbourhood Houses, etc. All offer open access, voluntary parent/child drop-in programs.
- BC Council for Families focuses on leadership through education, training, advocacy and research for the healthy development of families.
- Canada's Physical Activity Guide for Children: A one-page guide to help you make wise choices about physical activity. Choices that will improve your health, help prevent disease, and allow you to get the most out of life.
- Canadian Association of Social Workers provides a national leadership role in strengthening and advancing the social work profession in Canada.
- Canadian Centre on Substance Abuse promotes informed debate on substance abuse issues; disseminates information on the extent and consequences of substance abuse; and supports and assists organizations involved in substance abuse treatment, prevention and educational programming.
- Canadian Child Care Federation (CCCF) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the quality of child care services for Canadian children and families. It provides information to service providers, child care organizations, educational institutions, government policy makers and public opinion leaders.
- Canadian Council on Social Development (CCSD) is a non-profit social policy and research organization focusing on issues such as poverty, social inclusion, disability, cultural diversity, child well-being, employment and housing.
- Canadian Early Intervention Research This site is intended to inform researchers, policymakers, practitioners, parents, families, and other stakeholders about early intervention for young children with developmental delays/disabilities and their families across Canada.
- Canadian Health Network (CHN) is a national, non-profit, bilingual web-based health information service. CHN's network of health information providers includes Health Canada and national and provincial/territorial non-profit organizations, as well as universities, hospitals, libraries and community organizations.
- Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) exists to promote the mental health of all people and to serve the mental health consumers, their families and friends.
- Canadian Policy Research Networks Inc. (CPRN) is a non-partisan resource for advocates, analysts, journalists and citizens. Its mission is to create knowledge and lead public debate on social and economic issues important to the well-being of Canadians. Its goal is to help make Canada a more just, prosperous and caring society.
- Canadian Psychological Association's objectives are to lead, advance and promote psychology as a science and as a profession for the benefit of humanity; to provide leadership in psychology in Canada; to promote a sense of identity among psychologists; to promote the advancement, dissemination, and practical application of psychological knowledge; to develop standards and ethical principles for education, training, science and practice in psychology.
- Canadian Public Health Association (CPHA) is a national, independent, not-for-profit, voluntary association representing public health in Canada with links to the international public health community.
- Canadian Social Research Links is a comprehensive, current and balanced collection of links to Canadian social program information for those who formulate Canadian social policies and for those who study and critique them.
- Canadian Stroke Network's mission is to reduce the effects of stroke on the lives of Canadians and on Canadian society.
- Child and Family Canada is a unique Canadian public education website. Fifty Canadian non-profit organizations, together under the banner of Child & Family Canada, provide quality, credible resources on children and families on an easy-to-navigate website. The managing partner of the consortium is the Canadian Child Care Federation.
- Childcare Canada and its Childcare Resource and Research Unit, part of the Centre for Urban and Community Studies, University of Toronto, focuses on early childhood care and education research and policy. Its mandate is to advance the idea of a publicly-funded, universally accessible, comprehensive, high quality, not-for-profit system of early childhood care and education in Canada.
- Child Welfare League of Canada (CWLC) is a national membership-based organization dedicated to the well-being and protection of all children and youth. One of its projects includes the Canadian Resource Centre on Children and Youth (CRCCY). The CRCCY's mandate is to collect, catalogue and disseminate information on children and youth.
- The Division of Aging and Seniors, Public Health Agency of Canada, provides federal leadership in areas pertaining to aging and seniors. The Division encourages the dissemination of information aimed at improving the health
and well-being of seniors. The Division not only produces and disseminates its own publications, but it also offers operational support to the National Advisory Council on Aging (NACA). The Division's publications are available online at: www.phac-aspc.gc.ca/seniors-aines/index_pages/

- European Network "Family and Work" The European Observatory on the Social Situation, Demography and Family is a multi-disciplinary network of independent experts established upon the request of the European Commission. The Observatory monitors political developments in Europe which have an impact on the social situation, demography and family; analyses political activities and the impact of family policies; monitors demographic, socio-economic and political changes which have an impact on families; stimulates academic debate on social, demographic and family issues as well as on related policies; and organises annual seminars of the Observatory experts and invited speakers for a specialised audience.
- Families and Work Institute (FWI) is a non-profit center for research that provides data to inform decision-making on the changing workplace, changing family and changing community.
- Family Mediation Canada is an interdisciplinary association of lawyers, social workers, human services and health care professionals, working together, creating a better way to provide for co-operative conflict resolution relating to separation and divorce, adoption, child welfare, wills and estates, parent/teen counseling, and organizations.
- Family Service Canada is a not-for-profit, national voluntary organization representing the concerns of families and family serving agencies across Canada. Membership includes family service agencies, corporations, government agencies and interested individuals.
- First Nations Child and Family Caring Society values and promotes wholistic knowledge and practices that support the sharing of national First Nations community resources to love, respect and nurture First Nations children, families, communities, and nations. First Nations Child and Family Caring Society shares this knowledge through research, projects, publications, resources and workshops.
- FRP Canada (FRP Canada) is a national association providing innovative leadership to advance social policy, research, resource development and training for those who enhance the capacity of families to raise their children.
- Genuine Progress Index for Atlantic Canada (GPI Atlantic) is a non-profit research group, founded in 1997, to develop an index of sustainable development and well being - the Genuine Progress Index.
- Institute for Research on Public Policy (IRPP) is an independent, national, nonprofit organization that seeks to improve public policy in Canada by generating research, providing insight and sparking debate that will contribute to the public policy decision-making process and strengthen the quality of the public policy decisions made by Canadian governments, citizens, institutions and organizations.
- Invest in Kids Foundation
Invest in Kids is a national, charitable organization dedicated to ensuring the healthy social, emotional and intellectual development of children from birth to age five. Guided by a staff of experts in child development and parenting, its research, parent education and professional education initiatives are aimed at strengthening the parenting knowledge, skills and confidence of all those who touch the lives of Canada’s youngest children.
- Kids Help Foundation is committed to improving the well-being of young people throughout Canada. It believes that children have a right to be heard, a right to access resources and a right to self-determination.
- Kids' Take on Media a national study of what kids have to say about the media that Canadian children use, the satisfaction they get from their media consumption and whether the violence in their daily media diet influences their behaviour and values.This study was commissioned by The Canadian Teachers' Federation (CTF).

- National Action Committee on the Status of Women through advocacy, lobbying, research, education, the NAC fights for women's equality.
- National Advisory Council on Aging (NACA) assists and advises the Minister of Health on all matters related to the aging of the Canadian population and the quality of life of seniors. NACA reviews the needs and problems of seniors and recommends remedial action, liaises with other groups interested in aging, encourages public discussion and publishes and disseminates information on aging. Its publication are available on the NACA web site at: www.naca-ccnta.ca/publications_e.htm.
- National Anti-Poverty Organization (NAPO) works to ensure that the concerns of low-income people in Canada are heard and respected, and provide a voice for poor people on an wide array of national issues that affect low income communities disproportionately.
- National Clearinghouse on Family Violence (NCFV) is a national resource centre for all Canadians seeking information about violence within the family and looking for new resources being used to address it. By sharing the latest research findings and information on all aspects of prevention, protection and treatment, the Clearinghouse seeks to help Canadian communities work toward the eventual elimination of all forms of family violence.
- Native Women's Association of Canada exists to enhance, promote, and foster the social, economic, cultural, and political well-being of First Nations and Metis women with First Nation and Canadian societies.
- One Parent Families Association of Canada is an association of approximately 1,000 single parents offering a wide range of activities for members and their children. District Conferences and National Conventions provide a forum to exchange ideas and an opportunity for training.
- Planned Parenthood Federation of Canada (PPFC) is a pro-choice, volunteer organization dedicated to promoting sexual and reproductive health and rights in Canada and in developing countries.
- Public Policy Research Centre (Policy Centre) was founded in 2000 and provides research, dissemination and curriculum development services in the interest of public policy. It is an independent research institute within the Faculty of Arts, Memorial University of Newfoundland. The Centre's principal offices are located on the St. John's campus of Memorial University in Queen's College.
- Seniors Canada On-line Canada's Trusted Source of Seniors Related Information on the Internet. Seniors Canada On-line is designed for older adults (age 55 plus), their families, caregivers, and supporting service organizations. It offers key links to seniors-related information from Government of Canada, Provincial and Territorial Web sites.
- Seréna
is a natural family planning movement oriented toward the development of the couple. Although directed primarily toward adults, SERENA also provides information to teenagers through participation in family life programs.
- Services for Children: Guide to Government of Canada Services for Children and their Families A guide that covers the main concerns of parents and other caregivers, as well as the basic needs of children. Each listing provides online links to access information about these services and obtain copies of publications.
- Sex Information and Education Council of Canada (SIECCAN) is the Sex Information and Education Council of Canada, a national non-profit educational organization established in 1964 to foster public and professional education about human sexuality.
- Sick Kids - AboutKidsHealth. This
website has an extensive collection of information on child development,
common health problems, and health care. It is a comprehensive,
interactive, and accessible resource for families. Regular columns, news,
features, and series on the latest in child health research are written in
collaboration with expert health care professionals from SickKids and the
University of Toronto. In addition to its Health A to Z and News sections,
specific Resource Centres are provided for various conditions, such as
Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Diabetes, Brain Tumours,
Heart Conditions, and Pain. These cover all facets of each condition from
understanding diagnosis through to long-term management and adult outcomes.
The health information on its website is supported by the Just for Kids
section, which is oriented to children and youth, and features games,
narrated animations designed to promote health knowledge, and printable
activity sheets.
- Status of Women Canada (SWC) is the federal government department which promotes gender equality, and the full participation of women in the economic, social, cultural and political life of the country. SWC focuses its work in three areas: improving women's economic autonomy and well-being, eliminating systemic violence against women and children, and advancing women's human rights.
- The Balmoral Project's purpose is to help great kids
with their not-so-great behavior. Assists parents and teachers in finding information online by searching out sites and mapping them on its own site for easier access to information.
- The Centre for Families, Work and Well-being is committed to using its research and teaching expertise to promote individual and family well-being, responsive and productive work environments, and strong, sustainable communities.
- Todays Parent is a Canadian parenting magazine with a library of information on all the ages and stages family serving moms and dads of children from birth to age 14. Articles, both practical and philosophical, tackle the complete range of relevant issues, including health, education and behaviour.
- Toronto Parents of Multiples Births Association of Canada (TPOMBA) is one of the largest not-for-profit self-help and support organizations in Canada for parents of twins, triplets, and more.
- United Generations Ontario (UGO) is an incorporated not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting the effectiveness and efficiency of other registered Canadian charities involved in providing benefits to members of different generations - children, youth, their parents and people of their parents' generation, seniors and other older adults.
- Voices for Children promotes the well-being of children and youth in Ontario by disseminating information to influence policy, practice and awareness.
- Youth.gc.ca a Government of Canada initiative providing information about programs and services available for youth at the community level and beyond. YouthPath also serves employers of youth and youth service providers.
